An unnamed Woman lies on her deathbed, reflecting on the highs and lows of her life, her eight children and her unfaithful husband. Holding off Death – for now – is the Scarecrow, accompanying her on this contemplation of an unfulfilled life and offering comfort and recrimination in equal measure.
